House Republicans are slated to convene Monday for a meeting regarding Iran’s recent attack on Israel, Punchbowl News founder Jake Sherman reported on X.

The bulletin Sherman posted mentioned that the discussion among Republicans would be “regarding Iran’s recent attack on Israel and defense supplemental funding.”

On Saturday, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., said the lower chamber would be changing its schedule to for funding for Israel.

“In light of Iran’s unjustified attack on Israel, the House will move from its previously announced legislative schedule next week to instead consider legislation that supports our ally Israel and holds Iran and its terrorist proxies accountable,” Scalise said.
