Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis received more bad news on Monday as one of the defendants Willis’ RICO case offered to enter additional testimony if the disqualification hearing is reopened. The new witness is prepared to testify that the relationship between Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade began in 2019, contradicting sworn testimony from the pair.
Defense attorneys for former Georgia Republican Party chairman David Shafer met with Cobb County Chief Deputy District Attorney Cindi Lee Yeager, who offered to testify about her knowledge of the relationship between Willis and Nathan Wade.
Yeager told defense attorneys that she had multiple meetings with Terrence Bradley, Wade’s former law partner, between August 2023 and January 2024. Bradley told Yeager that Wade and Willis first met in 2019, adding that the romantic relationship between the two began around that time.
This directly contradicts testimony from both Wade and Willis that the relationship began only after Wade was hired to work on the case. Wade was ultimately paid more than $700,000 in taxpayer funds for his work on the Trump investigation.
Bradley told Yeager that he had direct knowledge of the relationship between Wade and Willis, including the use of former office employee Robin Yeartie’s apartment. Yeartie previously testified that to her knowledge, the relationship between Wade and Willis began as early as 2021. Her testimony threw the timeline of events into question for the first time.

Yeager further revealed that Bradley received a phone call in September of 2023 while he was visiting her office. The person on the other phone was District Attorney Willis, who was calling Bradley in response to an article and how much Wade and other attorneys were paid for their work on the case.
“They are coming after us. You don’t need to talk to them about anything about us,” Willis told Bradley.
The legal filing continued; “Ms. Yeager watched Mr. Bradley’s testimony before the Court and became concerned as a result of the fact that what Mr. Bradley testified to on the witness stand was directly contrary to what Mr. Bradley had told Ms. Yeager in person.”

Phil Holloway, a legal expert and columnist for Townhall, announced on X that he “cannot emphasize how significant this is.”
“The judge will be hard pressed to ignore the proposed testimony of another Georgia prosecutor who is coming forward to correct what she perceives as a fraud perpetrated on the court by Fulton DA Fani Willis,” Holloway wrote.
Superior Court Judge Scott McAffee is currently deciding Willis’ fate after closing arguments in the disqualification case were heard this past Friday. McAffee indicated that a decision will be coming within two weeks.
