McLaughlin to Newsmax: Biden Censoring Opponents

Pollster John McLaughlin told Newsmax Wednesday that President Joe Biden is resorting to censoring his opponents and trying to knock them off ballots to shore up a victory in 2024.

Speaking with “The Chris Salcedo Show” on Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary results, McLaughlin says, “Joe Biden, you know, whenever he can, he’s kind of censoring his opponents. He’s knocking Democrats off the ballot, and he’s trying to knock Trump off the ballot.”

In Sept. of 2023, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who had run as a Democrat before declaring himself an independent on Oct. 9, 2023, wrote an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal, accusing the DNC of “rigging” the primary to favor Biden.

“Even if candidates reach voters anyway, the party is trying to stack the primary schedule in Joe Biden’s favor,” Kennedy wrote. “The DNC has revoked New Hampshire’s century-old status as the first primary state and replaced it with South Carolina. Mr. Biden won the latter in 2020, but he lost both the New Hampshire primary and the Iowa caucus.”

Conversely, on the other side of the political ticket, Trump has amassed a number of significant lawsuits under the penumbra of Biden’s Department of Justice — many of which have been called frivolous, such as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case where the former president faced charges of falsifying business records, or Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ case regarding Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia, which could otherwise call for knowing what Trump’s subjective state of mind was at the time.
