Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski recently put forward the extension of the platform’s revenue policy, which has uniquely positioned it among its competitors. Under this extended policy, Rumble creators will still keep 100% of the revenue collected from their subscribers. No end date was specified

This policy was initially rolled out as a temporary measure that was largely praised by Rumble’s creator community. 

Such a move has been a magnet for all sorts of independent creators and public figures tired of the anti-free speech status quo.

This is part of Rumble’s strategy to position itself as a pro-free speech platform. 

The industry standard has generally consisted of revenue-sharing between creators and platforms. With Rumble’s new policy, creators can receive a more consistent and predictable income stream. The industry standard generally tartsees platforms take a lion’s share of the revenue with creators keeping very little of it. 

Rumble is one of the few social media platforms that actually promotes free speech. It has become a hub for free speech discourse in a time when mass cancellations have become the norm. 

It’s good that the platform is embracing more of a pro-creator policy. This will attract more dissident creators and function as a beacon of hope for future creators, now that they know they can put out content for a living without having to get censored or get nickeled and dimed by greedy platforms. 

Other platforms should try to follow Rumble’s example and embrace more pro-creator policies.
