Source Reveals Why Barron Trump’s Appearance In Family Christmas Picture Is ‘Monumental’ – Trump News Today

Former President Donald Trump’s youngest son Barron, 17, has long been kept from the public eye by the Trumps in quite deliberate fashion; many credit former First Lady Melania for orchestrating his careful and limited exposure to his parents’ very public life. But with a key appearance at Mar-a-Lago, it seems that could be changing.

According to The New York Post, a “well-placed source” close to the Trump family has told reporters that Melania and the former President are in “lockstep with one another,” refuting many earlier reports of a rift between the power couple. While Melania was forced to step away from a planned family photoshoot with the family due to her mother Amalija’s illness, the youngest Trump sibling Barron made an appearance that was called “truly monumental” by Melania’s former senior aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff.

Wolkoff told the Post that the American people could expect to see more of the young man who stands at a commanding 6’7″ towering over his father, brothers, and sisters.

In the photo posted by Donald Trump, Jr.’s fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle to Instagram the young Trump is seen positioned prominently at his father’s right hand opposite his sister Ivanka at the former President’s left. The positioning of the 17-year-old was no doubt deliberate as any inclusion of Barron has always been “strategic” and at his mother’s direction.

Wolkoff said that Barron’s presence in the photo-op is portentous.

“Melania’s decision to include Barron in this family activity, even if she couldn’t be there herself, might be a significant turning point, potentially fostering a new level of support between Melania and Donald.”

She added, “Barron’s appearance is truly monumental and shows Donald and Melania are in lockstep with one another. I believe we will be seeing more of him now. Nothing happens by chance with Melania.”

Given the rarity of his public appearances, Barron always seems to make the news, and whether to the teenager’s chagrin or not, his height always seems to stand out in the commentary surrounding him. Even Trump-friendly conservative commentators couldn’t resist, with Benny Johnson of Tenet Media asking proverbially, “What are they feeding Barron?!?”

Even Raheem Kassam, editor-in-chief of the National Pulse playfully wondered if the young man could single-handedly top the Christmas tree unassisted by a ladder.

While his imposing stature steals the headlines, his seemingly doting father emphasizes his son’s scholastic and athletic achievements as many a proud father could recognize. “Barron is a very good athlete. He’s a good kid. He’s a good-looking kid. He’s a great student,” he said in a September interview with Megyn Kelly.

When asked if Barron would attend his alma mater The Wharton School of Business Trump said “We’re thinking about that right now that’s those are the things we’re talking about right now.”
