Emerging UFC talent Bo Nickal recently recounted an extraordinary day that seems more like a plot from a Hollywood movie than real life. In a conversation with famed podcast host Joe Rogan, Nickal delved into his experience of golfing with former President Donald Trump at the prestigious Bedminster course in New Jersey.
Fresh off a thrilling fight attended by Trump and UFC President Dana White, Nickal was personally invited by the former President to play golf. Surrounded by a presence of Secret Service agents, the day unfolded in a surprisingly ordinary fashion.
“Coolest freaking dude, man. He was like, ‘Oh, we didn’t talk about politics. We didn’t talk about anything when I first got there.’”

“Trump, like, people I golf with, the dude’s an amazing golfer,” Nickal said. “I couldn’t believe it, how good he was, every fairway right down the middle, hit every green, making all his putts.”
Nickal narrated a gripping scene on the 18th hole. With thousands at stake, Trump executed a flawless shot. “He turns around, doesn’t even watch it land, walks right back to the cart, sits down, and the guy’s like, ‘Nice shot, Mr. President.’ And I was like, ‘Damn, that was clutch.’ And he looks at me, he goes, ‘Don’t you want your president to be clutch?’”
