Megyn Kelly Goes Off on Taylor Swift, Calls for Boycott – Trump News Today

Renowned podcaster and former television host, Megyn Kelly, has called for a boycott of global music icon Taylor Swift. The bold move comes in the wake of Swift’s recent attendance at a comedy show fundraiser, which has stirred up a significant controversy in political and entertainment circles.

The fundraiser, organized by comedian Ramy Youssef and part of his “More Feelings” tour, was held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Its primary aim was to provide humanitarian relief to Gaza, with proceeds directed to the American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA). Swift’s presence at this event has sparked a heated debate, given the current nature of the Israel-Hamas war.

Kelly, always known for her forthright opinions, did not mince words on her podcast. She said, “I hope they boycott her events until she issues it because attending this thing was wrong.”

“Do some googling — see what they do in Gaza to gays. See about women’s rights in Gaza, Taylor,” Kelly finished.

Despite Kelly’s strong stance, Swift’s fans, known as “Swifties,” have rallied to her defense. They’ve argued that attending a comedy show should not be equated with active political support.

Swift, who recently celebrated her 34th birthday, has not made any public statements regarding the controversy. Her publicist, Tree Paine, has also not responded to requests for comments from various media outlets.
