Iran Threatens the United States If It Tries to Escalate Israel-Gaza Conflict – Trump News Today

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian warned that the United States won’t leave unscathed if the Hamas-Israel conflict expands into a wider conflict. Amirabdollahian’s comments came after the Biden regime asserted that Iran was allegedly behind a series of drone attacks on American military units.

The Iranian Foreign Minister issued the threat in a speech to the United Nations General Assembly, accusing the US of presiding over a “genocide” against the Palestinian people.

“Today in New York and the United Nations I say frankly to the American statesmen who are now managing the genocide in Palestine that we do not welcome” an “expansion of the war in the region,” Amirabdollahian proclaimed. “But I warn if the genocide in Gaza continues they will not be spared from these fires.”

The foreign minister gave a speech at an emergency General Assembly meeting to discuss the Israel-Gaza war. Several Arab countries passed around  a draft resolution that would push for an immediate cease-fire.

His remarks represented the latest escalation in a gradually intensifying war of words between the US and Iran in the days following Hamas’s attack on Israel, which resulted in the killing of 1,400 people. Israel firmly responded with airstrikes that have killed roughly over 5,000 people in the Gaza Strip. Hezbollah militants have also joined the fray by firing rockets into Israel from the north. The Iranian-backed militant group has warned of launching larger rocket attacks if Israel carries out a ground assault of Gaza.

On top of that, Amirabdollahian said Hamas is prepared to release civilian prisoners who were among the 200 people Hamas kidnapped during the October 7 raid. He asserted that the world should back the release of 6,000 Palestinians being held captive in Israeli prisons.

Further, the US has experienced a notable increase in attacks on American military units based in Syria and Iraq, reporting that 21 Americans have been lightly injured in a series of drone and rocket attacks since October 17. US officials blame the Iranian government for this incident.

“We know that these groups are groups that are backed by Iran,” Brigadier General Pat Ryder, a spokesman for the Defense Department, declared on October 23. “We don’t necessarily see that Iran has explicitly ordered them to take these kinds of attacks. That said, by virtue of the fact that they are supported by Iran, we will ultimately hold Iran responsible.”

At the UN Security Council, Secretary of State Antony Blinken cautioned that the US government would respond “decisively” if Iran or its proxies launched an attack against Americans,.

The Biden regime is deploying more forces to the Middle East, which includes two aircraft carrier groups, more fighter jets, and missile-defense systems. The US  government claims the moves have the aim of deterring Iran.

The US must exercise restraint here. It should not be trying to get into conflicts that one of its reckless allies — Israel in this case — wants to draw it in.

Unfortunately, the US is a Zionist occupied government so it will put itself in dangerous geopolitical scenarios that could see it get embroiled in a veritable world war.

A realist, non-interventionist foreign policy is what’s needed here to prevent further chaos from popping of
